Omnium Creative Network [OCN] Overview

The Omnium Creative Network [OCN] is a free and non-profit online global community of creative people (students, professionals, educators, theorists, writers and more). It's aim is to encourage members from all over the world to collaborate in a variety of ways, to focus their attention on more socially aware and ethically responsive art and design projects.

Membership is made up of participants from a wide variety of countries worldwide; in particular countries less fortunate in terms of having easy access to creative interaction through conferences, publications and exhibitions.

The OCN aims to become a rich research resource and information exchange, as well as a place for it's members to get the chance to meet people normally out of reach due to their geographical or socio-economic situation.

Membership

The initial launch of the OCN can enrol up to 500 Full Memberships. Full memberships will be allocated to creative people from many countries around the world and are for people who wish to not only access the rich variety of information, but also interact actively within the community: contributing to discussions, sharing ideas, and on occasion taking part in monthly creative projects.

Each Full Member will be entitled to:

  • Their own personal profile, gallery and content area
  • Full access to view members personal profiles, galleries and content areas and leave feedback to them in a variety of ways
  • Full access to live chat room sessions
  • Full access to all news items, essays and interviews
  • Participate in live chat sessions with special invited guests
  • Full access to read and post in the community's discussion forums
  • Full access to view and suggest interesting links to websites appropriate to the OCN
  • Receive information on upcoming projects and events
  • Receive the OCN mailing list of upcoming events and additions to the community

Application for full membership is free. However, as space is limited, we need to select full members based on applications that demonstrate a willingness to actively participate in the community.
